Your initial visit depends on the type of service you are booking.
For Tier 1 massage services we’ll begin with a brief conversation about your goals, areas of tension, and any discomfort you may be experiencing. Your session will be customized to your needs.
For Tier 2 specialized manual therapy or bodywork, your initial visit will include intake, evaluation, postural assessment and a hands-on treatment. Instructions about what to wear or bring to your appointment will be included in your appointment confirmation and reminder emails.

We offer two tiers of care: Tier 1 Therapeutic Massage and Tier 2 Specialized Manual Therapy.
Tier 1 sessions with Heather focus on therapeutic and pre/post chiropractic massage, including deep tissue and relaxation work to relieve tension and support overall wellness.
Tier 2 sessions with Alissa provide more advanced, specialized care using modalities such as John F. Barnes Myofascial Release, Upledger CranioSacral Therapy, Somato-Emotional Release, Thai yoga bodywork, personalized yoga therapy, and acupressure to address deeper or more complex concerns.
If you’re not sure which to choose, please book a free 30-minute discovery consultation, and we’ll be happy to guide you toward the best fit based on your needs and goals.

Massage therapy can help reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and support your body’s natural healing process. Many people also experience relief from stress, improved mobility, better sleep, and an overall sense of relaxation and well-being.
-
It depends on the type of session you book. For sessions that use draping, you can undress to your level of comfort and will always be properly covered with a sheet, with only the area being worked on exposed. For sessions performed fully clothed, we recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows you to move and relax with ease. Your comfort, privacy, and sense of safety are always the priority, and your session will be adjusted to support that.

Pricing varies by tier and session length. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and debit cards, including HSA/FSA credit or debit cards.
We do not bill insurance, but we can provide a receipt that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. If you have any questions about pricing or payment, feel free to reach out before your appointment.
-
We ask for at least 24 hours notice for any appointment changes. Cancellations and rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice, or missed appointments may be charged up to the full value of the service. Up to 24 hours before your appointment, you can use the change/cancel appointment button on your appointment confirmation or reminder email to reschedule your appointment yourself.

Gratuity is handled differently depending on the tier you book. Tier 1 sessions are priced without gratuity included, and tips are welcome but optional. Tier 2 session pricing includes gratuity, so no additional tip is expected.

After your session, it’s helpful to drink plenty of water, allow your body time to rest, and avoid intense activity right away. Taking time to rest supports your body in integrating the work and helps you receive the full benefits of your massage.
If you’ve had deep tissue work, you may experience some soreness within 24-48 hours following your session. This soreness should feel similar to what you might notice after a workout. If it feels different or concerning, please reach out to us for guidance. Taking an Epsom salt bath after your session may also help reduce soreness.
